About SECI
Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) is a central public sector undertaking under the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, established in 2011 to facilitate the implementation of solar energy projects in India. It plays a pivotal role in the development of the solar sector by executing various schemes for the government, including the National Solar Mission. SECI’s endeavors in promoting solar energy have significantly contributed to India’s transition towards a sustainable energy future.
About the SECI internship:
The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) internship program offers a unique opportunity for students and young professionals to engage directly with India’s renewable energy initiatives, fostering hands-on experience in solar project management, policy formulation, and sustainable development practices.
Salary & benefits
- An amount of Rs 8000/- per month shall be paid as a stipend to the trainees having a training period of less than 06 months.
- An amount of Rs. 12,000/- per month shall be paid as a stipend to the trainees having a training period of more than 06 months to 03 years.
Eligibility
The Internship will be available to students engaged in research, students pursuing Engineering Graduate and Postgraduate Degrees, or Ph.D. in the Renewable Energy Sector, CACS/ICWAs/CMAM/BAs in HR/Finance/IT/C from recognized Universities/Institutions within India or abroad.
