SBI Asha Scholarship Program 2023

SBI Asha Scholarship is an initiative by the State Bank of India Foundation to provide financial assistance for meritorious students from low-income families. Students are selected for the scholarship based on the marks they achieved in the qualifying examination.

About the Program

SBIF Asha Scholarship Program 2023 is an initiative of the SBI Foundation under its education vertical – Integrated Learning Mission (ILM), to provide financial assistance to meritorious students from low-income families across India to ensure continuity of their education. Under this scholarship program, college students pursuing first year of undergraduate studies from top NIRF universities/colleges and IITs, MBA/PGDM from IIMs, and PhD from premier institutions are entitled to receive a scholarship of up to INR 5 lakh for 1 year. Buddy4Study is the implementation partner for this scholarship program.

SBI Foundation is the CSR arm of the State Bank of India. Eligibility for the Scholarship

The Applicant must check the eligibility criteria for the SBI Asha scholarship before applying. The eligibility criteria are mentioned below:

1. Applicants should be in 6 to 12 classes.
2. The minimum mark must be 75% of the previous year.
3. The annual income of the student’s family should not be more than 3 lakhs from all sources.

7. Cross-check all the information and click on the ‘Submit’ button.

  • A valid identity proof like a voter ID, Aadhar card, driving license or PAN card.
  • Admission proof of current academic year like admission letter, fee receipt, bonafide certificate, and identity card.
  • Bank account details of the candidate or parent.
  • Income proof which can be Form 16A/ income certificate from government authority/salary slips.
  • Applicant’s photograph.

The student selected for this scholarship will be awarded INR 15,000/ for a year.

Eligibility

  • Students pursuing first-year of their undergraduate studies at top IITs in the academic year 2022-23 are eligible.
  • Applicants must have secured a minimum of 75% marks in Class 12 examination.
  • The annual family income of the applicants from all sources must not be more than INR 3 Lakh.
  • Students from PAN India are eligible to apply.

Eligibility

  • Students pursuing first-year of their undergraduate studies from top NIRF universities/colleges in the academic year 2022-23 are eligible.

Eligibility

  • Students pursuing first-year of MBA/PGDM courses at top IIMs in the academic year 2022-23 are eligible.
  • Applicants must have secured a minimum of 75% marks in graduation (aggregate scores of all years/semesters).
  • The annual family income of the applicants from all sources must not be more than INR 3 Lakh.
  • Students from PAN India are eligible to apply.

  • Students enrolled in first-year of PhD programme (any stream) at renowned institutions in the academic year 2022-23 are eligible.
  • Applicants must have secured a minimum of 75% marks in postgraduation (aggregate scores of all years/semesters).
  • The annual family income of the applicants from all sources must not be more than INR 3 Lakh.
